I wanted to know if I could get a few people on board for some walking exercise. I have been walking 1.4 miles once or twice a week, but I would like to increase it. I think that I would reach that goal if I had someone who is trying to reach a walking goal themselves in my corner.

So who's with me? Raise your hands. Not all at once, but come on guys. We can touch base when we go and support when we don't. So what do you think?

Baker1959, everybody who does some kind of exercise jots it down on the discussion each day. Everyone will receive encouragement and support. and if you fall off the wagon, you will get support not a reprimand. This our first week. If the response is good we will keep it going.

I will join the club. I need to get my butt out there again and the dog always loves it. So how do you want us to report? Or do you want to pick days where we go out and post how we did?

How about riding a bike. I ride 20-30 min a day except on Sat and Sun when I do yard work but I will give it a try.

I do a lot of walking now since I lost a few lbs.. Never measured the distance but will do so and now that the weather is getting warmer I will do more walking but still ride the bike. Here's to better health by exercise.
