To all of my DC friends, as some of you know I was diagnosed with T1 back in August and have been coming here since! I want to tell you all just how much this site has meant to me for support, encouragement, and EVERYTHING else! Since my diagnosis I have had my ups and downs! I learn something new every day from DC friends! I have met wonderful people and value my friends here!

I have great news since my diagnosis I was able to finish my Master's Degree in December! I will be walking the line on Saturday as an honor student! For me the accomplishment is so huge since I finished my last semester learning how to deal with D while finishing comprehensive exams and classes! My biggest fear was to experience a low or high during my exams or in front of my committee during my oral exam, but I didn't! Here I am 8 months later walking the line wearing a black gown with honors! I am so excited and just wanted to share that although living with D is so new to me, my first months taught me that through determination we can do ANYTHING! Hugs to all my friends and thank you, you were also there with me without even knowing it! :-)

Congratulations!! Just shows how having diabetes doesn't end your life, just need to make some adjustments like everything else in life requires. So proud of you:)

Awsome, maybe without the stress of trying to finish school on your shoulders your relaxed attitude will continue to give you great bg numbers, keeping fingers crossed!

I too had a wonderful weekend:)

Congratulations!!! Talk about a fine example of not letting D win. You could have buckled under the stress and pressure of it all, but you didn't. What a wonderful accomplishment and I'm so proud of you!

Thank you, without people like you with me especially in the beginning of all of this I couldn't have done this! As time goes on I realize that my time with D is but a second in comparison to YOU! I'm not sure if you realize just how much of an inspiration you are to ME and others! Again, thank you my friend, :-}

Thanks, I realize now that my calling may not actually be what I thought it would be. The more I learn about D the more I want to reach out to others. so that they are able to take better care of themselves!
