Great! keep doing what you're doing and always remember that as long as you keep your A1C around this level to around 6.5% then you may not suffer diabetes complications. Land mark trials reveal that with every 1 % rise of A1C beyound this leveel will raise the risk of complications to your eyes, feet and kidneys by 35%. Keep also in mind that regular physical activity is your ally for life. Keep it up. Anyone can do this.

That is just fantastic! Please share with the community how you were able to accomplish that. What things did you do to change your habits to help you get such a great result?

Well being in this community helps! I like having a "sounding board" and support. I saw a dietician and diabetes consultant. Changed my lifestyle…worked out almost every day, ate less sugar and prayed. Believe it or not prayer changes things. Thank you for all your insight!
