Exercise and Type 1

Hey! I'm a 20 year old with Type 1 (since 1993!) and have always been active with sports (soccer, skiing, and love all outdoor activities). This summer I am planning to run my first half marathon, and hope to run a full in the fall… and I'm wondering if there are any other young people out there with type 1 who have done or are in the process of training for longer races. I'm trying to figure out the best time of day to run, how to manage my bolus and basal (I'm on an animas ping) before, during, and after running, and how to manage basal rates later to prevent lows. Would love to chat to anyone who's gone through this or is currently doing something similar :)
