Thanks for the link to this website and these recipes. I am definitely going to prepare some of these meals. I love garlic. It is a main stay in my and my family's diet.

I had not grown up in a household which used garlic but my "Jem" and her mom indtoduced me to garlic and started me cooking with it.

I had heard it was good for many things, including diabetes so once I moved back to NV I decided to get some minced garlic and use it where I can.

These recipes look interesting.

Wonderful flavor with lots of health benefits. Yes, a good choice; glad Jem introduced it to you.

I grew up with garlic and onions. My husband thinks fresh garlic is like salt to most peoples. No vampires in our house! I really do love it though.

red flower lady: you sound like an "old hand" at using garlic and onions. I like them together also. Do you or your husband have any favorite recipes you could share?

Garlic is a definite part of my diet & for more reasons other than just good for BG…

Thanks for the post and all the great responses it's gotten so far.

I love to cook with garlic, despite the stickiness. Will definitely try some of these.

Me, too; throw it into many, many dishes.

If you see any that have high carbs, let me know. I did a quick look and didn't see anything that looked problematic, but may have missed something.
