I am type 2. I go to gym for 1/2 hr walking and 1/2 hr of machines evry alternate day.
Is it better to exersice before the meal (like dinner) or after the meal?

I agree it is a preferance thing for ea of us, before or after a meal. I like to walk after breakfast about 2 hrs and before lunch. Works for me.

Welcome to the madness:) I think it just depends on the individual and how you feel. I know the advice is that it is better to exercise in the morning so as to have all that energy for the day, but that isn't always true, can get exhausted instead. So, I think you should try it both ways and see how you feel. Just remember to stay hydrated and if taking diabetic meds, exercise can make bg go low, so be prepared. Maybe eat some peanutbutter and crackers before working out.
Let us know how it works out and again welcome.

I've heard it both ways depending on your type of exercise. I don't like a full feeling, so I eat after, but try to get a little protein in before to stay focised and "fueled".
Oh, and welcome! Sorry you qualify for our little party, but glad you're here!
