… YOUR AGE BY CHOCOLATE MATH

This is pretty neat.

DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST!
It takes less than a minute .
Work this out as you read .
Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out!
This is not one of those waste of time things, it's fun.

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once but less than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)

3. Add 5

4. Multiply it by 50 — I'll wait while you get the calculator

5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1762 ..
If you haven't, add 1761.

6… Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number

The first digit of this was your original number
(i.e., how many times you want to have chocolate each week).

The next two numbers are

YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!)

THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2012) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE IT LASTS.

Mine came out perfect too :) the 2nd time I did it - one observation - on # 5 it had 2 choices and I had to reread it to make sure I used the right choice cause the 1st time I tried it didn't work as I had chosen the wrong option.

It said I wanted chocolate 5 times a week (I said 9-I'm a chocoholic!) and my age was 05 years old! Nice try! And I used an adding machine!! But it was a fun game LOL :)

I had fun with it!!!! My question is, is that I started off with 8—I want chocolate 8 times a week, and I'm 41 years old..ha…it said I am 46 years old and that I want chocolate 6 times a week-I must have made a mistake—ha!!!!—ANNE

Yes, it was your math. 8x2=16, plus 5=21, times 50=1050, then add either 1762 or 1761 (depending of if you have/have not had your birthday yet this year) giving you 2812 or 2811, then subtract 1971or 1970 and get 841.
