Personally, I love eggs and eat them almost every morning, but a while ago someone asked for egg-less breakfast ideas. The ones on this link come from a health site that is NOT specifically for diabetics, so you may need to make some adjustments, but they may give you a new idea or two.

The website for that is acting up but will check out it out later. Also I do have some recipes but I want to fine tune them to make them healthier. Hugs

Thanks Carol. My kids and I are big fans of eggs too but my husband can't eat them. These will be a nice change from the norm for him. Might even get him to eat breakfast more often, instead of rushing off with a travel mug of coffee and maybe picking something up on his way in to work.

checked out the site will go back later to get ideas for breakfast instead of eating eggs and hashbrns every day or oatmeal. Will give incentive to ry new stuff and hubby may like them too cool

May even help your BGs, since hashbrowns, good as they are, are also one of the things that sends most of us up the BG chart!

I saw on the internet that eggs is onw of the fat burning foods, among avacodos, dark chacolate, and cinnamon.

Yes, isn't that wonderful? I was relieved because I eat them all the time. So did my dad and he was one of the healthiest90 year old's I've ever known.

I have been eating the same breakfast for several years now. It consists of 2 slices of WASA Light Rye Crisp Bread. I spread about 1/3 cup of Plain Greek yogurt on them and then top with fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries) when in season or 1/2 of a fresh peach cut up and then sprinkle with Splenda. If I can't get fresh fruit, I'll use 2 tbsps of sugar-free jam or marmalade instead of the fruit (I put it on the crisp bread first and then spread the yogurt over the jam). I feel like I'm eating a pastry and along with my coffee w/milk, it's only 30 grams of carb!
