Well I just finished a train ride from Chgo Ill. to Mesa Az. This is a first time trip with insulin. Was completely off on readings. Was hard to figure out how much to take in a shot because all I did was sit and eat. I'm usually up and doing things. How do you figure insulin and travel? It was hard to figure it out because I never knew what we would be doing.

I'd just to the calculations as usual with eating food. Baseline, sliding scale if need be, and carb count. Granted it is hard not to snack, but be careful on this and eat the proper foods, i.e., stay away from the bad carbs.

I had a high count. Besides watching carbs do you think emotions had a reason for the high counts? It seemed emotional burying a brother-in-law in a different state amd preparing for a Military Honor. He was 94 and sickly for abt. 10 years. would the slide rule still hold?
