I'm sure this has been posted before but I need advice. What are some good snacks? I'm looking for things beyond the usual veggies, fruit, and yogurt. I feel like I'm in a rut. No, I know I'm in a rut. Same bf, same snack, same lunch, etc. etc…Peanut butter is out for me. I love it but it doesn't love me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

My snack is air popcorn, and sprayed with a little butter-flavored PAM. The is a grain, takes a longtime to process. I eat this before bed take the needed insulin and in the morning most times my sugars are in the normal range.

Pretty much anything you eat can be a snack. A piece of last nights baked chicken and some veggies can be considered a snack. To me snack implies a small amount of food that will hold me over until my next major meal.

The foods that Riquelskyy mentioned below are good choices to consider. You could also try fiber or protein bars, protein shakes, eating raw veggies with some kind of healthy dip (I've recently discovered that I like Hummus, tastes great with veggies), you could mix some dry cereal or granola into the yogurt or cottage cheese, or, if you can eat them, try multi-grain crackers with cheese or dip. The goal is to find what plays well with your levels and of course portion control.
