Well I ended up eating oat meal everymorning some times with a banana no sugar and some margarin.
Other mornings just a piece of toast but thats rare. Juice with twice the amount of water so it's not so sweet. Yeah plain but true and keeps me going till lunch a real big deal. On my days off I might cook up some eggs and sausage. The type of sausage that has little fat (not breakfast type). Choosing this type of breakfast has helped me so much. I feel better. How about you any new breakfast idears?

I have a bowl of cereal without sugar and skim milk. or 2 eggs on low toasted bread. That will hold me a good 5 hours.

I ordered some of the very very low carb bread online. I boil two eggs, smash them up and even put lite mayo in them to make egg salad. I do this while the eggs are still warm. With the low carb bread and lite mayo, I am at almost 0 carbs. Opps! Forgot to say that I toast my bread.

Mine is usually scrambled eggs and a slice of low carb bread (toasted) or a cup of low carb yogurt. Kroger's makes a good low carb yogurt called "Carb Master". Has 3 net carbs per container. It can be found at Food 4 Less or Ralphs here in California. I also have my obligatory cup of coffee with a splash of DaVinci sugar free syrup and half & half every morning. Wouldn't be a day without it!

Once in a while I will treat myself to a serving of steel cut oatmeal (long cooked type) with some chopped pecans and dried blueberries. Since starting insulin I have found I can eat that again so long as I am careful of the portion size.

You should NEVER skip breakfast, especially when your BS is too high. Fiber and protein are what is going to help set your metabolism for the day and bring down those morning highs. Watch the carbs in the evenings. You will notice a BIG difference in no time. An egg or two, whole grain toast or 1/2 bagel (or oatmeal/cereal), AND a piece of fresh fruit are the best thing you can do for your BS first thing in the morning. I struggled with morning highs for about three years before I figured it out. And a little butter instead of margarine is not at all a bad thing. In fact, my Dr said no more margarine due to problems it was causing with the gall bladder. Breakfast is awesome!

breakfast for me is usually a vegie omelet and whole grain toast or a bowl of some sort of non sugared cereal with milk and maybe some fruit. Typical.. I'm pretty boring at breakfast too LOL

never not eat breakfast, your bs could actuallly go higher it stops insulin production, and you have no energy to get going.
If your having high bs in the morning what are you having at night time? I got my numbers down when I get up in the morning, I stopped eating any carbs after 6:00 pm any time I do eat any carbs after 6:00 pm then my numbers spike.

You should never skip breakfast! Your bs is high in the morning because your body is insulin resistant like me. My bs is always in the high 200's when i get up. You HAVE to eat breakfast! Its sets your whole day up!!!!

I usually share a bowl of grits with cinnamon with my Parrot. Some mornings we scramble an egg with some Cayenne pepper.
