I was diagnosed with type 2 at the beginning of January. It was a little scary, but I accepted it and determined to do all the right things. I was at 226 lbs at that time, and put myself on a good diet and exercise program. I'm not quite down to my goal (by Easter) of 200, but thinking about it, that was a bit unrealistic of me.
I've lost 10 lbs, and my new jeans no longer fit me. And with the warm weather we got this past weekend, I pulled out my shorts. The ones I bought last year that I never got to wear because they are just too tight? Well, now they fit great. I can't wait for them to be too loose!
