Meteormin new, new (seems this is the med when all changed blood levels)

Lunesta, dexilant, sertraline, ipratropium nasal spray, Algery shot(2) ea mo

I keep reading but I'm just confused.  I know this sounds dumb. But I think I need to find foods I can eat. Maybe i'm Looking for the easy way, just tell what to eat.  Period. I have to eat out four days a wk.  I just don't know. With AC 1 eat this/ w / high potassium don't eat this. With stage 3 AKD do this. ?? One day I thought I found what a could eat. Grapes & feta cheese. Yap, that was it.  That can't be all.

welcome to my world. green beans, california blend veggies, with olive oil, and plain salad with olive oil. these do not raise bs, and give me energy. oh, and water. that's it! and fresh or frozen.

Metformin has caused me a problem with my leg. I will see a doctor on 4/19/12 to see if I have kidney problems. Metformin is causing burning like sensations up my left side. I quit taking it. Pray that my kidneys are damaged and I have to go on dialysis. My back is beginning to hurt. I am type 2. Have a niece with type 1 and she is now blind and on dialysis 3 times per week. She is 34 years old. I pray for us all with diabetes.

Howdy Sarah. WELCOME to DiabeticConnect

I also have chronic Kidney disease and am nearing the time I will need to be on dialysis. (stage 4 almost stage 5- ESRD.)

I have found various resources on the net which have helped me. One of those is here ~

I could give you more links, and when you want more just ask me (preferably by inbox) but these should do for now.

Let us know how your appt with renal specialist goes.

Blessings to you and yours

EDIT: By "Meteormin" did you mean Metformin? I believe it was Metformin which fried my kidneys and put my kidneys into shutdown due to infection and me on hemodialysis the first time.

Just real fast, need to get going but yes, Metformin! My iPad honestly spells words wrong if you don't watch her. She adds a letter or drops letter or just say what she thinks you mean. Lol
I have been reading your post for a long time. I remember you saying that about the Metformin. That's really why I added new, new.
I really feel better just getting my story on line. Post more tonight. Thanks

We accept people "warts and all" here. But I-pads which misspell — well that's GOT to go! (just kidding!)

Safe trip! come back soon!
