The greatest thing D/C has given me is many great friends whom will be with me forever. The support from these friends will always be unbelievable. So I thank the staff for a platform for each of us to use to be able to gather knowledge, and Great Friends.
I also want to Thank my special group of friends, they will know who I mean.

Tom

I would thank them for providing me with a place I can be myself and be with my friends who are always looking out for me. You guys rock and I feel so much like we are family, warts and all. LOL I have laughed and cried with so many of you. I would thank them for helping me be accountable (and if they closed I am not sure what I would do to replace that!)

I would thank John for his great vision that started here in DC and grew into all the other Connect sites. I would thank Jeanette for her support to me and her way of making things calm down for me. I would thank Amy for her incredible knowledge and her strong desire to make every person aware of diabetes and her great sense of humor. And the team for putting up with all my hundreds of questions about how to do things here. (I am not the most computer literate person and I am sure they roll their eyes at me sometimes. LOL)

I would thank them for providing me with a place to learn from others who truly understand what I'm going through. But mostly I would thank them for the opportunity of meeting all of you. The search for answers is what brought me here. But it's your experiences (good and bad), knowledge, ideas and acceptance that keeps me coming back. I know that I wouldn't be as far along in my understanding of my D if it wasn't for the support and encouragement of the friends I've made here. I look forward to logging in to hear from you all and to see what questions, challenges, updates or adventures the new day will bring for us. So, for those reasons, I hope this place never closes.

Ditto to the other replies. When I first found the site I like many others was searching for answers. I found more and better information than I received from the classes or my Dr's. The members are great and truly care about each other and what they are experiencing. This is a one-of-a-kind site!

Well, I hope it doesn't happen. I would miss the opportunity to meet new friends and to help and be helped by them. Diabetes can be such a scarry thing to deal with and knowing people can come here to voice concerns is wonderful. Not all have that option in their home lives and this site is a life saver for them.

So, I too have to add my thanks to the administraters/staff of this site for allowing it to be here.

SAY IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN, Tom!

How am I gonna get my daily DC "fix"? LoL!

I would thank them for the friendships and all the information I have received over the 3 + yrs I've been here. This place was instrumental in me being able to manage my Blood Glucose (BG) numbers without the use of any diabetes medications.

Between that and the friends I have gained, I am truly blessed by DC!

Thanks everyone!

James
