Pretty much how I try to pattern my diet. Not specifically through Dr. Weil, but he does seem to have a more "paleolithic" diet approach. You may also want to check out Dr. Ski (Floyd) Chilton's book "Inflammation Nation".

I'll definitely check it out. I pretty much use numerous sources for diet guidelines, so good info is always welcome. For now though, it's time to hit the sack. I'll be heading out to Duke Hospital in the early morn for some medical tests. About 300 miles round trip. I should be around tuesday. Talk to you then…

Thanks for the video Al. I had just recently read about the benefits to eating pasta aldente so it's interesting to see that it isn't just the opinion of the person whose article I read. Also over the years I've tried to cook more foods "across the color spectrum" because it was pleasing to the eye. But as I've learned, since being diagnosed, it's a good way to ensure you're eating a variety of healthy foods (unless you're eating a bag of skittles).

If only they were healthy and non-fattening! All you would have to do is follow the trail of wrappers to find me kicked back and munching away!

I had tried M&Ms recently and they didn't tast all that good to me. Now give me a good DARK chocolate (as weil suggests) now that is mouth watering!

I have actually followed Dr. Weil for over 20 years. He seems to be right on the money with his health advice, especially diet. The advice from my dietician is very similar. I have constantly been tweaking my diet in an atempt to improve it. I sincerely believe that this video can point many people in a good direction with their diets. Those already on a healthy diet might find some info here to help them tweak it in a positive way.

Well I was impressed enough to sign up for a few newsletters. Thanks again for the link.

You're very welcome! I constantly get interesting bits of info in my e-mail. Sometimes even months or years before my doctors are aware and end up giving me the same advice.
