I use the Freestyle Lite, which I received for free from the manufacturer and a card that lowers my co-pay to $15. You can purchase a cord that allows you to hook it up to your computer to download your results. I have had great experiences with the meter and the company. They are very helpful and offer lots of educational info and a diabetic hotline that you can speak to CDEs and nurses.

Good Aftenoon!

There are so many meters on the market, the choice is endless.
Here is one of my favorites (I have used meters from so many manufactures over the years) based on the fact that the test strips are cheap in price, so is the meter and it's available at so many pharmacies under the pharmacy's name brand!

I also love the software that allows you to syncronize your meter readings with your computer, you can also input your medications, doctor (s) and other important diabetes related information just by placing your meter in the docking cradle attaches to your computer, no clicking on icons required!

The software (TrueManager) is very well designed indeed, it will also intergrate with Microsoft Healthvault for online storage of your information if you prefer.
You can read about it here and download free of charge to see what it looks like.

The complete setup (meter, strips, software and docking station) is very economical, there are also many other brands marketed by Target and Walmart that are also very good, or you can look at meters from Bayer, OneTouch and others.

Here is the first link once again, just click on it and it will take you to the meters product information page where you can download the manual for both it and the diabetes management software.

Pharmacies are always offering a rebate on these meters resulting in you actually receiving it for free.

Have you tried their diabetes management software program?
If so, how do you like it?
I love all of the information that I can input such as my doctors info and my medications, also the connectivity and integration with Microsoft HealthVault.
