Does anyone here take, or instruct yoga classes?

I decided to take a few yoga classes to help me to loosen up my tight muscles and to improve my flexibility, (it seems interesting as well as challenging).

Yes, I have been doing it for about six months. I have a private instructor once a week and do basic positions at home during the week. It has been very helpful and surprisingly, it has helped at golf.

All in all, I highly recommend it but do it very slowly and I recommend lessons. Community centers and other places often offer classes for a nominal cost.

No yoga. But I do some Pilates. It helps stretch, loosen, and improve my flexibility. Not up to the basic beginner I was at before. Am slowly building up to that. Yoga seemed a little harder to me when I watched people doing it.

I am trying it at home and have found a program on Netflix that I like. My son bought me an early birthday gift; a mat with a strap and two sponge blocks. I haven't tried them out yet but I am enjoying the yoga and want to continue it for awhile. Later I may look for a local class.

I agree with StrawberryMango, definitely harder than it looks!! I do Yoga occasionally and have found it really helps my flexibility.

Nope, not yoga, I can't sit that long, but I have tried Tai Chi. Helps with focus and limberness.
