What happend to the US MED link on the home page? Ask a diabetes expert is there now, which I think is awsome. I know people were asking all kinds of questions, but since they were mostly medical, answers couldn't be given.

Just wondering if they are nolonger with us here?

click on the Gearhead badge in the badges area and it will take you right to them. This is probably a glitch in the system with all this set up of the following/stalking system

Thanks, I have the gearhead badge and tried it. I see that the question asked today was by the diabetes connect staff. I see people are STILL asking medical questions which cannot be answered by US MED. They should go to our main page and use the ask a diabetes expert option. I'm sure Farrah is getting frustrated trying to get that point across. I'm still surprised there was no mention about the change from the Community Advocates regarding where they went?

I hope they change the creepy stalker/following system soon!

There are a ton of questions to them and answered by them, I think maybe 2 or 3 had moderately useful answers, the rest were "I can't answer that because I'm not a doctor" or generic "I don't know/there is no answer" kind of thing. I may be a little harsh but it seemed completely pointless for most questions not directly related to a product carried by the store.

You can see them all here.

This didn't answer my question of where did it go? I did throw out a meter question that I knew the answer to, just to participate and eventually it was answered. It would have been bad for me if I really needed the answer as the reply time was awful. That was the only thing useful for me, as the company doesn't have anything that I use or have any idea about my products. I don't need them for a meter list or a bottle of lotion and that was the extent of their diabetic offering. I'm sure they may have helped someone?

I agree, that it was pointless to ask questions not related to what the company sold. However; I think the confusion came about as it was being hyped as questions answered by diabetic experts! I didn't like the fact that basically you had to call their number for more direct answers, pricing etc.. But this is just my opinion:)

It looked like there were two people answering questions, a customer service rep and a pharmacist. I only saw the rep answering questions.

The rep is the only one I saw answering them. I did ask the site about why Farrah wasn't answering questions, and was told she has a fulltime job, and basically has to fit us in.

I did a discussion search on US med and I could find this discussion, but not any other discussions where US MED was in the title or in the original posting. So my guess is, they are no longer with us. I know there was at least one other discussion where US MED. was discussed. Why this is it is not clear.

I'm thinking they are gone as well, but why the site didn't say anything to us when they hyped it so much is beyond me, but oh well. You can bring up Farrah's original posting if you go to discussions and search by typing in US MED Farrah, there is a reply by a member on 1/30 but no answer.

Anyway, thanks for the reply.
