We heard about a company that is looking to interview patients with type 2 diabetes who have recently started using insulin. They want to make a series of videos about your experience with insulin to help other patients who are facing similar decisions. Sounds kind of cool.

Here were the requirements that were given:
• type 2 diabetes
• recently started insulin
• between 40 and 65 years old

So if you're interested, please email diabetescasting@yahoo.com small for more info.

I was taking metformin for to long and it attacked my kidneys & liver. Switching to insulin has removed the problem. I was having intense pain for 1.5 years, switching to insulin removed the pain in two days.

I'm all for this project! To bad I've been on insulin for four years, I have advice to share.

This is great. I think it will help people understand that insulin is not a bad thing.

Me too. I know my doctor won't do it for me. But my mom got her doctor to listen to her and she does a long lasting shot once a day before going to bed. She love it. It has helped her so much. She does have chances of lows now, but so far they have not been bad.
I hate it when doctors "threaten" us with insulin. That is so wrong.
