Day 3

Well another day almost gone and I am starting to feel better. I'm still getting the urge to eat stuff I'm not suspose to. But I'm sure that will pass in time. Or at least I hope it does. Hope everyone has a great nite.

You're doing great congratulations, a friend told me once that diet is not a short term thing it is a lifetime time one so true especially with D. Keep us updated!

You're doing good, Bug. Yes, the urges come and go. You may even find yourself craving something that you would normally not think twice about. Happened with me and chocolate cake. But this too shall pass. Just keep telling yourself it's not worth the calories, elevated levels, guilt, etc…and stand strong in your "no" to yourself. The temptation is always lingering, but it gets easier to resist with time and discipline. As Nick and Christy said, taking baby steps and daily words of encouragement will lift you up and carry you far.

Bug, just a little housekeeping tip: If you want to post an answer to a particular person's posting, click on the "reply" link (in blue) below the posting to which you wish to reply. It is much easier to do it that way. And should you wish to edit anything you posted you'll see an "edit" link below your own postings. You can go back and correct or change anything you've posted should you wish.

No…you didn't. What James is saying is that in order to post a reply to someone directly, you should click on "reply" under their response. That way they will receive an alert stating that you have responded to what they wrote and it will show up under their response (so it will be clear that that's the person you're responding to).

Give yourself a positive affirmation each day
Speak good words over yourself
Set yourself a goal, walk the stairs, park far away from the grocery store. Anything that gives you a little extra umph in the day
