This is something we should all become aware of. Not one person has the same symptoms as another. Just like they say about how did you know you had diabetes? I didnt and didnt have any of the "normal" symptoms. Hence something to help us all be aware of all the same. Hugs

I saw this article and felt it was so pertinent. The edema in our legs causing swelling and even pain in our feet can be elusive to the diabetic because we or I should say I might think its all neuropathy.

I was also surprised at the jaw pain…who'd a thunk!

pizxi my sister had a mild heart attack about 4 years ago in her early 50's. Her symptoms were indigestion and vomiting. She thought it was something she ate. She had numbness in both arms but never felt faint or had chest pain. She is fine now but as the article states, symptoms of a heart attack are not always the classic symptoms we are aware of and for women the symptoms are different.
