I have had no problems working nights. My BG has been good, before, during, and after work. A few times I have had BG highs or lows. It was usually from eating the wrong food, needing to adjust my metformin, or stress due to having a cold or flu.

I live in us and i worked nights for years.. Its ok with type 2 as long as you stay consistant with sleep. 10 kgs is a bit much but it could be fluid lose also…keep it up and see if you regulate out. And make sure you are eating at least 1400 calories per day…more if you are a big built person…you dont want more complication with too fast a weight loss on your body parts. My husband is learning the hard way.

22lbs in month is a lot. how much did you weigh before being admitted to the hospital? how have your blood sugar levels been? have you seen a doctor since coming home from the hospital?

Hi Joe.. how are you… Thank you so much for the reply.. I was 233lbs , now blood sugar level is around 85-90 before meals and about 120-139 two hours after meals… I go brisk walks for an hour or two in the morning and follow strict diet and work out with weights for an hour in the evening. I met my doctor about 3 weeks ago.. my doctor prescribed me glimy twice and glycomet thrice and said i did a good job by losing weight( when i met her i had actually lost 13lbs) .

ok well your blood sugars look great. if you had really sugars and was losing weight I'd be really concerned. not sure if you can keep that rate of weight loss up but the weight loss and added exercise will help control your sugars better. keep up the great work. and I'n not aware of any issues w/ working night shifts as long as you get proper rest and your sugars stay good
