needing help!

hello everyone, Im new to this site and im needing some support and help. My sugar levels are running so high, at times they are in the 400's im on 70 units of lantus at bedtime and humalog during the day (sliding scale).. I have diabetic attacks when i take the humalog and then i just feel awful.. Im just struggling with all of it.. I need to get a good diet as well. anybody out there that can help?

You have come to a good place. There are a lot of people here who can help you get through.

With levels that high, I would start by suggesting you sit down with your doctor and tell him what is going on. Make sure you get your points and concerns across and make him listen. He is working for you, so take advantage of that.

When you say you have diabetic attacks, what do you mean? Are you going low?

There is no real "diabetic diet", but there are some things that can help. Are you counting your carbs? Do you have a goal of how many carbs to eat during the day? These are things you can work out with your doctor and then we can help you with food choices and so on.
