my mom was just dignosed with bronchitis, but when she came home from the doctor, she was sick to her stomache & was dizzy, she came home & went to bed. I stopped in to try to help but I have no clue what to do her sugar was 200 but she hasn't eaten anything, I gave her the diabetic pill, I hope she can keep it down. I'm diabetic but have never been this sick so I have no experience to offer her. Any thoughts??

I agree with Joyce. If she is able to keep her meds down, make sure she is drinking a lot of water or tea. Nothing sweet unless she goes low. Bronchitis is a rough one to beat and it will make her numbers wacky. Keep an eye on them and take her to the ER if they get too high.

Ask the pharmacist what they suggest. Those guys are the best and they know what works and interacts. I have gotten some of the most unusual, but helpful info from mine.

Hi Lakeland, I had Bronchitis in October last year. The doctor gave me an Antibiotic. I didn't get as sick as your mom. She should go back to the doctor immediately or to the ER. If she can't keep anything down, dehydration can make it worse. I won't take over the counter meds without talking to the pharmacist. I hope she gets better soon.
