job related issues

I am going through a lot at work due to my disesase. Have any of you ever had a situation where your diseases effect your job and duties? I am looking at being put on admisntative leave and in the process of being fired…they are not saying that I cannot do my job because of the disabiliteis, but what they want me to do I often cannot because of pain from anyone of the mirad of diseases I have. an overabundence of diseases…I don't even know which doctor I need to see to discuss the problems…I have atuonomic nervous disorder…that means that my diseases relate to my central nervous system…I am diabetic type 1, hypothyroidism, neurocardiogenic syncopy {which caused me to have to have a pacemaker in when I was 42}, fibroymyalgia, ischemic colitis, anxiety/depression, panic disorder, ptsd, restless leg, reynold disease, diabetic neuropathy; especially my feet, but also my stomach, and lazy esphogus and chronic fatique; also chronic pain. oh and IBS…What have you experienced? What are your thoughts?

Wouldn't this come under the Americans with Disabilities Act-wouldn't your workplace have to make reasonable accommodation for you to work there? Or is that not possible with your job duties?

I've gone that route…but they want me to walk around contstantly…I am a teacher…because it affects discipline…
I have an attorney…so we'll see what he says…I was just curious what others would think…

Perhaps a "reasonable accomodation" could be provide you with a powered wheelchair for use in the classroom? Just a thought.
