Take care of your diabetes or you could end up in hospital like I did with a stroke did I mention I'm only 35?

Sorry to hear that. I don't wish this on anyone!
How long have you had D? Were you not taking care of it? I'm not implying anything, was just curious. You don't have to share if you don't want to. But we are here if you do want to vent, ask ?'s or just share insights.
I hope you start feeling better.
God Bless, Mickey

I have had D for about 10 years and I wasn't taking care if it properly . Doctors say I should make a full recovery but really frustrating not being able to move my hand or fingers much

I guess not. I'm pretty lucky then I guess. I found out a little over a year ago I had D, about 2 weeks after my mom died. I was in total denial. Then a couple of months ago I was having stomach problems, come to find out I had gastritis and it was my body giving me a wake-up call. Since then I have totally been on the band wagon, and my stomach is slowly getting better. It is not something that I ignore any longer. I refuse to let this win!
I pray you join the fight!
Blessings, Mickey

Mimi, for those who are in denial this is great advice. I have heard of many who do not know they are diabetic until that first stroke.
Denial can be a killer. I hope now that you will do what you need to in order to get that devil D under control

I'm sorry that you're ill. Hopefully you will be released soon and can take better care of yourself. It is a sober reminder and it is unfortunate this happened to you.
