insulin costs

i am on medicare parts B & D .also medicare RX from aarp healthcare united 1! does anyone know how i can reduce the cost of my insulins {lantus and humalogue}. i have to pay $40.00 a vial and am having problems paying for this life sustaining medication !

i have tried the state ,and manufacturers plans ,but i dont qualify !

Hello Willy, I had that problem also with my Medicare HMO. I found that Reli-On Walmarts brand of insulin was less expensive and worked well for me. I see that you are using 2 different types, you might check to see if the Reli-on would be able to be substituted.
I was told that I made too much money to get assistance with my medication costs too.

I think you should change your prescription drug plan. I have a medicare prescription drug plan I dont pay any deductable and my meds range from anywhere from $1.30 to $6.30. Its called Healthspring there number is 1 877 357 1685. I hope this helps you.
