Since I have talked so much about him. I thought you all would like to see a picture. He is Casper(after the friendliest ghost cartoon). He is 5 months old and he is an American Eskimo. He is my motivation for getting out to walk and exercise. And to get my day started about 6 am.

Yes having a pet is a wonderful thing. Especially for people that are "lonely" or "sick" alot. I have a german shepard that thinks he is a lap dog…uggghhh did i mention he's about 110 lbs…lol

Lily is my 5 year Beagle and she is motivation for walking. Actually she is my total motivation to keep me going. The love and affection she gives me helps me make through the rough days!

He is adorable; I have 2 pekes, a father and son; I sold the rest of the two litters I had, and the mommy; she could not carry another litter. Anyway; I look forward to seeing them every morning when I wake up; often one of them wants to sleep with me, and the other next to me on the floor. They never leave my side, and when they sense I am sicker than usual; they lay right next to me; no matter where I choose to rest or sit, they are right there or under the chair. They are terrific friends and great company, and since I went through empty nest syndrome when the girls went off to college; I totally have to have them around me. Could not bear to lose them too.

I miss having a pet. I have been really sick for the past 6 years. I know there was no way my Mother or me would be able to care for one through my illness. I was gone most of the time. That would not of been fair to an animal. Now that I am better i want to do a puppy again. Just seeing the picture of your puppy makes my heart melt. Give him a big hug foe me. Thanks for sharing…Debe

Oh I will he is my huggable baby. And you are right Avera, even if you are having a bad feeling day you know you have to get up to walk and feed the dog. And Casper is smart, I think he knows when I am not feeling well because he will lay on the bed and watch me like he is checking on me.

That is one cute dog! More people should realize how much having a pet can motivate them to do things. Animals can keep you company and often without you even noticing, they cause you to get up and move even on a bad day. The most wonderful thing about a dog is that no matter what kind of day one is having, they still love you the same!!

He is a cutie, pets sometimes are the boost we need-we have a cat, dog and an iguana, and they are part of the family.
