That god thought enough of me to save me long time ago way before I existed. And that he choose to be human to do something that could have been done from where he stood looking down. I am also greatful that he still holds me on a secondly bases to make sure that I am safe to do his bidings. That being said I will also thank him for the experiences I have had that I would not have believe if I had not been there and for the people he has placed in my path both admirable and down right unexcusable. I thank him for those who have made a difference in my life and those that have made life unforgetable. Thanks is also due for those huge hands of protection that work 24/7 even when I am not looking. And last but not least, I am thankful for the chance to be in the presence of the one that is responsiable for those close to me and those that need to be close to him and that he still allows us all the key to a door that leads right to him and its always open for his love that he gives without thought.

I'm thankful for my family, being able to worship my Lord and Savior, our country (even with everything going on we are still better off than most countries around the world), and caring people. I'm new to Diabetic Connect but it seems to be a rather close-knit "community" of caring individuals. God Bless to everyone!

Hi Mysery, Goodness, there is so much I have to be thankful for, I am thankful for my eyes and the many books I read for pleasure and wisdom, for my ears to hear beautiful music which feeds my soul and the voice of friends and family that bring me joy and comfort. i am thankful for my abilities they make me forget about my dis-abilities. I am thankful for the web which keeps me close to friends and family that my wheelchair does not permit me to reach. I am thankful for my God that keeps me joyful and hopeful when society attemps to do the opposit. I am thankful that I live in senior housing with many ladies and a couple of gentlemen that are interesting and charming neighbors that know the words to the same old songs that I know.
I am thankful for the spiritual journey that I have experenced so far and for the knowledge that when it is over I will be going home. There is so much more but you may be getting tired of my voice. Happy Thanksgiving, All.

I am thankful for my family that has been so supportive. Especially to my parents who let me move back home when the Doctor's told me it was no longer safe to live alone. I am thankful for the new friends that welcomed me today and the support they give to everyone involved. Most importantly I am thankful that God has given me one more day to enjoy and that it's a good one.

I am thankful for my family, friends, and the support I am getting from my drs. I may gripe and complain about my aches, pains, and medical problems, but then I see someone who is in worse shape than I am. My health may not be the best, but it is alot better than some others I have seen, and for that I am grateful and thankful.

I am thankful for the life and breath Jehovah has given me. I am thankful for the measure of faith that is increased when I act on what I believe. I am grateful for all the prayers of believers praying for my continued success as I work toward my goal of overcoming diabetes. Furthermore, I am grateful for a strong and supportive network of friends and family, not just biological, but truely committed and caring people. May His grace and love continually preserve us always.

I am thankful for my family. My wonderful husband and beautiful daughter. They give me the strength to get out of bed in the morning. I am also grateful I have a doctor that understands and wants me to be better and have a great quality of life. I am grateful for my good numbers, it has been a long process, I am grateful we live in a country where we can vote for our president. Hopefully things will begin improving when the new president is inagurated. I am thankful for this community where we can discuss our ups and downs. I am also thankful for my new puppy( 5 months old now) that makes me get exercise by taking him out and for walks. And somehow I am thankful for being diabetic, it causes you to get in tune with your body and forces you to eat better where otherwise you probably would not. Everyone have a blessed day. Remember to make smart choices and drink your liquids.

What a great question Misery!

Here is what I am truly thankful for and not in any certain order.

1. I am thankful that God gave me the strength to finally go to a doctor this year and have a physical.

2. I am thankful for finding all of my friends here, and knowing that I am not alone in my battle with diabetes.

3. I am thankful that my blood sugars are finally coming under control ( a very slow process).

4. I am thankful for my wonderful wife, without Lori and her love, I would not be able to go on.

5. I am thankful for a wonderfully supportive family and great coworkers at my job.

6. I am thankful to God that each day I have another chance to better myself and look at life as the immense gift that is is.

Happy Thanksgiving To Us All!

I am so greatful that my family is a huge support in my battle. I am thankful that I have friends who truly care for me. I appreciate that I live in a country where I can have access to many things so many others do not not have. I am thankful for this community, as even in my darkest days, it is my ray of sunshine.

I am so thankful for my family. I am also thankful for the family during a hard time of death of their 26 years old daughter was kind enough to donate her organs to eight lucky people. One being me…I am thankful for God watching over me. I give my problems to the Lord everynight before I go to bed.

I am thankful that God has helped our whole family through tough times, and that he still watches over us to keep us safe. I am also thankful for our family. I am thankful that we live in the US and that I have been able to retain a job that provides us a decent quality of life and the benefits that allow us to take care of ourselves. Today I am especially thankful that in less than 24 ours I will be heading to the hospital to have surgery on my neck to relieve 10 weeks of pain.

Thanks Misery-I am glad to be back-even though I was only one a week it seems like longer and I missed you all! I am definately getting rest-seems like I have only been on the couch or in the bed, but I will definately take it slow and follow the dr orders as I do not want to end up back in the hospital.
