Hi everybody!

I was diagnosed with T2 back in August and have been consistently watching my blood sugar everyday when I get up. I was in Metformin for three weeks until I joined a weight loss program, "New Directions Physician Weight Loss", which is q weight loss program based in Bentonville, Arkansas. This prorgram has three phases to weight loss. Reduction, adaptation, and maintenance..

When I was diagnosed with T2, I was at 310. By the time I joined New Direction, I was at 301. As of today I am now down to 250. I can now wear size 48. Before, I was wearing 54. Xxl shirts are now XL.

Good news. I went for a follow up for the my a1c count is 4.8 and has declared me diabetes free. I'll go in for another follow up in February. The web address I gave was a mistype. Here's the website about the program that I'm on.

That is awesome! Keep up the good work. I myself have been changing my lifestyle to feel better and lose some weight. When i joined a month ago i was at 345lbs. After a month i am down to 333. Nice and slow and healthy.

Glad you are here, and keep us posted on your journey! God Bless, Mickey
