Does anyone know where to get the egg-noggin tea and the rosehip teas?

fun2u2007 2008-12-16 18:47:08 -0600 Report

I searched the internet and this is what I found at the Bigelow Tea Site:

Eggnoggin Tea was a seasonal product featured last Fall/Winter. If there is any inventory left, it will be sold on the website, http://www.bigelowtea.com.

I couldn't find this tea at that site. Lisa

Sounds like all teas are good for you, If not someone let me know. Where do you get the Holiday Tea By Bogelow called "Egg-Noggin"

Tea is a good drink choice, just make sure that when you buy tea at the store it's pure tea without added sugar or chemicals. :)

I am having some green tea with acai berries.

jaclyncrystal 2008-12-08 13:36:40 -0600 Report

I like passion tea (starbucks) very cold then add tiny bit of organic fruit juice as a sweetner, very close to what they make in the stores themselves. Also drink cold green tea with crystal light lemonade to add flavour.

fun2u2007 2008-12-08 14:00:54 -0600 Report

I love the passion tea also, especially iced in the Summer.

I found a really simple homeade tea recipe that looks awsome!!

Cinnamon Mint Tea

8 cups water
2-3 cinnamon sticks
A handful of fresh mint leaves (about 10-15)
Dash of cinnamon powder
Your Favorite sweetener (like agave or stevia)

Bring the water to boil in a pot. Add the cinnamon sticks and boil for another 10 – 15 minutes. Remove pot from heat and add the remaining ingredients. Cover and let sit for at least 5 minutes. Enjoy. You can refrigerate and serve cold in summer.

I just found a new holiday tea today by Bigelow. It is called"Egg-Noggin" and it is soooooooo good! If you add some non dairy creamer to it you will have a rich creamy egg nog flavored tea. Soooo YUMMY! I just love the special edition holiday tea. They also have one called "Ginger Snappish" but I haven't tried that one yet. They describe it as a gingery, lemony refreshing tea. I will buy that one next. I had already bought 5 new boxes of flavored teas over the weekend, so I am trying to control my buying frenzy. But when I saw the Egg Noggin I just couldnt resist! lol

Oooh, a guilt free way to have egg nog taste! I can't wait to go get some and try it. Thanks for the info.

That sounds really good, I am going to try that also. Tonight having a cup of peppermint tea mmmmm I've had the flu since Friday and this tastes really good to me.

I just got an email yesterday from Celestial Seasonings saying that their new Christmas teas will be arriving in the stores soon. I looked in three stores today and it was too early. To their usual special Christmas teas (Nutcracker Sweet, my favorite…and Sugar Plum Spice-also very good) will be Candy Cane Lane-peppermint flavored and I think vanilla, Gingerbread Spice, and Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride. The descriptions for all sounded wonderful and I can't wait till they are out and ready for sale! :)

Jh862 2008-11-22 18:02:38 -0600 Report

Thanks for the info - they all sound good. I love mint tea so peppermint sounds really good. I'll have to check them out because I love trying new teas.

Thanks for posting this, I would never have looked if it wasn't for this post…it sounds like a nice indulgence, but really tea is pretty good for you, so I say "let us drink tea"…lol

If you are a gingerbread person, you will love the gingerbread spice tea. I love it & when my dad stopped by for coffee this afternoon I gave some to him along with a dish of banana pudding with bananas in it & a couple of gingersnaps. He loved it & said he would be back for more tomorrow…this from a hard-headed stubborn coffee drinking Swede!

tmana 2008-12-11 14:47:04 -0600 Report

Not so sure about that… I like gingerbread, but IMO, that tea is only reasonable when steaming hot.

I am probably a tea-aholic! I drink iced tea (lipton tea bags) all the time. Plus I've been getting into green tea during the day at my desk. Love Bigelow brand Green Tea with Mango and Green Tea with Mint. Lately, I tried the Replic of Tea Green Tea with Acai Berries since I heard they are great antioxidants. It's very good too.

fun2u2007 2008-11-19 17:33:46 -0600 Report

I haven't tried that tea yet, but I think I will. I have read alot of good things about Acai Berries. Thanks for the info.

Goddess 2008-11-19 17:36:50 -0600 Report

where do you get the green tea with acai?

Jh862 2008-11-19 19:10:08 -0600 Report

I first bought it from the republic of tea website at http://www.republicoftea.com I have also found it locally at my Vitamin Shoppe store.

Goddess 2008-11-24 17:48:37 -0600 Report

I just received my green tea with acai berries from Republic tea website. It is wonderful, awesome, terrific, etc…

Living in the south, tea is like air...it has to be on the table. LOL
We dirnk decaf black tea for dinner most nights, but that's because my hubby is a true tea drinker. I recently learned that camomile is good for us, so I have added that to my mix. I found a wonderful one that is camomile, honey and vanilla...ohhh so good and 0 carbs. I also drink green tea with citrus. Very refreshing. I like all the herbals from Celetial Seasons and if you have never tried STASH teas, I highly recommend them. I found them while in Alaska, and they are worth the price.

vgarrison 2008-11-04 20:14:42 -0600 Report

What is the brand with the chamomile, honey, and vanilla??? Sound yuuuummmmyy.

GabbyPA 2008-11-04 20:58:45 -0600 Report

It is from Celestial Seasonings. One of their 100% Naturals. It is in a new kind of box, so I don't know if it is a special off shoot or just new marketing. Yellow box. I have that one and the plain one. They were BoGo's at Publix the other day, and I can't pass up that deal.

kyladee 2008-11-01 15:07:15 -0500 Report

I really enjoy the many flavors of Celestial Seasonings Teas. Raspberry Zinger, Peach flavor, lots of them have chamomile in them along with a great flavor. They really set the mood for a good book, or a good movie to relax by, and we can all use a little more relaxation in our lives.

I generally drink Rosehip tea. It is high in vitamin C. I also have Green or Black Teas, but do not drink as often. I seldom drink coffee.

vgarrison 2008-11-01 11:59:58 -0500 Report

I drink a huge variety of herbal teas. Chamomile is a great one, with wonderful properties for diabetic individuals like myself…LOL…I drink a cup or two every night…I try to mix it up though.

Blessed Be

Green tea, lemon verbena, chamomile - and I steep slices of fresh ginger root in hot water. I've been thinking that I should add a stick of cinnamon to the mix, too.

Goddess 2008-11-01 11:11:59 -0500 Report

I drink green, white, black, red, chai, and herbal teas.

apanda 2008-11-01 11:48:34 -0500 Report

I love all kinds of teas. I drink it hot or cold. One of my favorites to drink later in the day or early evening is a decafeinted Earl Gray. I also love green teas, with or without other flavors. My favorite is a green tea with pomegranite. I get many custom blends from Design a Tea company in NY. You can specify black tea, green tea or white tea as well as rooibos and then choose your own flavors to be added. They will blend it and then send it to you in loose tea or bag form They will even put custom designed labels on your tea creations for you. Two of my favorites are butter rum/black tea, and vanilla hazelnut black tea.

I drink different types of teas, green tea hot or cold, cinnamon, ginger, applecinnamon, bay leaf and will try some of the other teas listed on here.

sparkysmom 2008-11-01 10:25:19 -0500 Report

I drink Green tea. For a treat I drink French Vanilla tea. When I don't feel good I drink Peppermint tea and sometimes different herbal teas.

tmana 2008-11-01 09:28:41 -0500 Report

I rarely drink "real" tea. When I drink tea-like beverages, they are usually tisanes or herbal infusions. For general drinking, I like Trader Joe's Raspberry tea (technically a tisane) and Trader Joe's Mint Medley tea (technically an herbal infusion). I like Choice Organic's Moroccan Mint Green Tea (a real tea). I use both Traditional Medicinals brand and Yogi brand therapeutic teas for upper respiratory symptoms, as well as echinacea infusions when I am around others who are sick.
