Margo, I am going to check that out now. I don't have tv so do not see commercials. Have you tried this product? Thanks

I just checked this out. The tablets contain: Proprietary Blend consisting of:

Glucomannon (Konjac Root), Sodium Alginate, Xanthum Gum, Mulberry Extract 30:1 Ratio, Gymnema Slyvestre, Chromium Picolinate
I have read a few places that recommend this ingredients to help lower blood sugar.
Copied from their home page. Why Use Glucosulin?

Many people have spent thousands of dollars on different products, trying to control their blood sugar metabolism and other products to burn body fat and have all the essential nutrients for optimal health. But with the all natural active ingredients in Glucosulin, the search is over!

Glucosulin’s proprietary blend is scientifically formulated and the key ingredient clinically proven to help accelerate weight loss without changing your lifestyle. It also helps you to support and enhance healthy blood sugar metabolism functions. Just take two capsules along with a glass of water 5-10 minutes before your meals, (up to 3 times a day), and Glucosulin goes to work for you.

How Glucosulin Works

Glucosulin works by helping you to reduce your meal portion sizes while still feeling satisfied. When you take it just before your meals, it slows the absorption of carbohydrates which basically slows down the release of sugar into your bloodstream. Glucosulin supports healthy weight loss and helps reduce appetite, while maintaining healthy blood sugar metabolism at the same time!

I will try some in January if my current supplements do not help as my reading suggested they should. Much that I have read the last couple of days is how Chromium will help the body to utialize the insulin we produce. This has been tested many years. Several suggest the "Chromium Picolinate" which is listed as one of the ingredients in Glucosulin.

Amer, it appears that the 2 to hand in hand. Most people state here that when they start gaining control over their blood sugar their weight goes down too. Sounds like a win win situation.

I find most high protein bars taste terrible. I don't care if the pictures look good or list chocolate, the taste is not great. Just do not be disappointed while you are getting good things, those things sometimes are hard to eat. LOL

I think Amer was referring to some pills (see his link below) rather than protein bars. But I agree with you those protein bars do taste rather funky at times.

Amer, This product has many of the supplements that I take, some I have just recently started. Many are below the daily recommended dosage to aid in lowering blood sugar. BUT with the combination they have those amounts might be effective. They look very pricey but I am sure my vitamins and supplements run much more then that a month. First and formost you should always consult your dr before starting anything new even supplements. If you do try please let us know how you do with it.

did you use any products with success ?

GabbyPA 2011-11-09 17:46:17 -0600 Report

I "won" a 3 month trial of something similar and it worked great. The problem is that after that was over, I could not afford to keep using it. It is over $120 a month that I don't have right now. Bummer.

I do agree with MEGriff1950, that the doses seem low. That may be why it is also less expensive. It is always a money game.

Would you post the website here so we can go and check it out? I looked in our product review section, but I don't see that anyone has posted that they have used it yet.
