does anybody know if casein protein is bad for people with diabetes who are on insulin

I agree with Tom (oldandgrey) Check with your PCP or nutritionist before you start any suppliment regimen.

I looked up "Casein protein dangers" and found this from Livestrong:

Here's another article on protein suppliments in general from E-How:
One of the things mentioned in the article is ketoacidosis. People with diabetes should avoid Ketoacidosis. Another possible problem is it may weaken or harm your kidneys.

Please do not start a program of supplimentation without your Dr and/or nutritionist's approval.
