we here in Alabama where i live are having the ride on 5-15-12 and i plan on doing the 100 mile ride instead of the 20 i will need y'alls support and would consider it my honor to not only ride for myself but for those of you who might not be able to ride for one reason or another

Do you have a donation support link? There are some rides that provide a donation link where the money does directly to the group like breast cancer. You may be team medic and the donations reflect under your team. We get sent an official donation receipt. Its all very legit. Thanks for representing!

I used to do 100 mile rides too when I was in my 20s. Are you going to train for a ride of that length? One is supposed to build up to a century over a month or so. In my 20s I didn't know that and I just tackled a century without training.
I got sick at about the half way mark. I was however able to complete the century, eventually.

I don't think at my age (almost 60) I would have the stamina or the balance necessary to attempt that. Perhaps if I got an adult tricycle maybe I could work up to it. I am guessing in Alabama you have a lot of cool weather in the winter but you could ride most days.
