I was wondering, has anyone else had this problem, u get low, get it back up to normal and u feel like youve just run a marathon? With me my brain wont function on a school work level, but instead a 2 grader level, just random subjects pop into my mind… Some are things from years ago that i had forgotton about! I also tend to move slow, no matter how fast my brain comes up with topics.. Then after i regulate, i get sluggish, sometimes it lasts for a few minutes others half hours… Ever haopen to anyone else? If not, what do u do?

If it is a really bad low, say in the 30's it can take me all day to get back to feeling normal. Even after I get my numbers back to where they should be I still don't feel right after a really low episode.

It usually takes me about a half hour to feel "normal" after a super low. I have trouble concentrating and even doing simple tasks. And the lower I am, the longer it takes to recover.

Sure, I get this a lot. Usually when I am rebounding from a super-low. How low are you getting? Like MEGriff1950 said, a little bit of exercise helps, even just a five minute walk around the block. That's hard, especially when you feel like a zombie (or a marathon runner tee-hee!), but it really does help.

Raven, I have had this problem and found that if I can do a bit of exercise after my sugar levels get back to normal that I feel better. I know this will be difficult while at school, maybe you can talk to your school nurse, school counselor and your doctor about this problem.
