Hi all, I have a question? It is that time of year where it starts getting dark early. Others like me gets really depress about this time of the year. What are some ways that you cope with this. I know for a fact that being depress affects blood sugars. Some like me tends to sleep a lot causing me to miss meals. This is just something that concerns me. I am sure that thier are other on this site that goes through this. Your response is greatly appreciiate.
Lots of internet hugs to all.

I try to find all the good things that go with the shorter days. Daylight savings comes in fall, my favorite time of year! There's Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, my birthday, and my wedding anniversary… All during daylight savings time. Winter is my second favorite time of the year. To me it means warm, fuzzy sweaters, cuddling up with my hubby on the couch under a blanket, being able to build fires in the fireplace, soups & stews & casseroles, and finally having the extra time to curl up with a good book for a weekend. Yes it sucks to get up and go to work in the dark, then drive home at the end of the day, in the dark, but it's not like it lasts forever. Before too long, spring is always here and with it the longer days.

Now that's looking on the bright side! LOL, pun intended! Those are all good things to look forward too. Sometimes, in the winter, when i have the weekend off my daughter and i will do movie marathons! Like one weekend it was the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and another it was the Matrix. One weekend it was Disney movies! All curled up in my blanket and pillow in my chair!

We try to do movie weekends in the winter too. This past weekend was scary movies. Might do it again this weekend. I love me some scary movies!
