Does anyone out there know of a website where a person can plug in a recipe and get the breakdown for carbs etc? I've got stew in the crockpot and three loaves of whole wheat bread in the oven and it would be nice not to have to guess about how many carbs etc I was eating. Thanks.

You're very welcome. I'm still in the learning stage about the DC site, but I figured that if anybody "out there" knew, they would share the info. They are a great bunch of people.

I've used It allows you to build a recipe, set the amount of serving per recipe and will give you the nutrition fact per serving. I've found it very helpful, particularly when I've modified favorite recipes to reduce the carbs.

I use to check recipes. You enter in your own or search a database of users' recipes. It's really a site to track diet, weight and exercise, but it has that cool recipe feature that I really like…

There are several of them. Some people use and I like using My Plate D ( and then go to tools and check MyPlateD). You enter the recipes and the site analyzes the ingredients and shoots you the results. You can then keep those recipes in the database so you can record your daily calories, carbs, fat, protein, etc. Check both of them out and see what you prefer.

Wow. Thanks much. I'll try it out. If I knew how to send you something I'd do it, but I haven't got that figured out yet. So thank you thank you thank you.

Go to Ray's profile page by clicking on his name or picture. A rectangle is on upper the right side of the page "write a message" below that is a link to "Add a gift" Select a gift and click the "share" button on right.
