Perhaps a referral to a Neurologist is in order. Talk to your doctor. I have severe motor and sensory neuropathy and as calyx mentioned gabapentin has helped with the discomfort … particularly at night.

I have neuropathy in my feet. The pain, at times, was so severe that I couldn't handle it and I would cry all night. My Dr. put me on Gabapentin, 600MG tab per day. That did it for me. I rarely have pain now.

Your sugar may have been high for a little bit maybe? I don't know, just throwing that out there. Also, could it be something else? Do you have other health prob's going on? Could it be just restless leg syndrome? Might want to talk with your doc. I have the start of diabetic neuropathy in my feet and legs and i know that it's not any fun. Then they started the restless thing and i thought i would go mad! My doc put my on requip and i tell you what, it works good! Very Very rarely do they bother my like that at nite. If i had a really hard day at work and was running around more that normal, they might hurt worse. That could be a factor for you also. Are you on your feet a lot? Well, i hope this helped in some small way. Good luck to you. God Bless
