I am so sick of the word DIET! Don't get me wrong, now that i'm out of denial, and getting my life back on track i'm all about eating healthier. But it's that diet word that puts stress on me! I've decided i'm not going to diet! What i'm doing is making a lifestyle change! I want my whole way of life to be better. Body, mind and soul! Whose with me?! Are you sick of "dieting"?

I agree there is a stigma to using the word diet. I hate it when people hear that you are on a diet or have a special diet that they decide to become your watch dogs. You hear "Can you have that' or thats not on your diet…is it". So I agree to lay off of the word!

Exactly! It's like, if i want you to hover over my and nag, i will let you know! I know most people mean well, but it's like, PLEASE! It's funny too when people find out they say are you on a diet and i'm like no, i'm making lifestyle changes, the don't know how to respond! Most just go oh…and that's it! I'm not a mean person, but i love it when i stump someone! Is that bad?!

I agree with you. I don't use the word diet either. Iif we go out to eat w/friends or to a bbq and ppl see that I'm not eating what everone else is, they say "oh you are on a diet" and I say no I just eat healthy. And I'm proud to say that in the last couple of months I've lost 17 pounds - from 140 to 123. Being a short person (5'2") 140 was a very unhealthy weight for me. So good for you on your lifestyle change!!!

Good for you! When u say diet people automatically assume your out to lose weight! That's a nice bonus, but my goal is to be healthy! I'm tall and carry a lot of weight, but i hide it well! LOL, I just want to feel better ya know! Keep up the good work! God Bless
