i know you should test your sugar before and after your exercising session. My question is if you eat a little something or take a glucose tab while walking because you might feel like your getting low and you want to walk farther is that cheating

Well i was told if you cant check your blood sugars for some reason, and you know what you feel like when your getting low,is to have some sugar intake just in case, then check your blood sugar as soon as you can. I am on metformin and Insulin,so if i feel the low symptons coming on I drink some juice or something with sugar in it to give me a boost, but you also need to to eat shortly there after to keep your blood sugar where it belongs,my stand by is peanut butter and jelly sandwich, keeps my blood sugar up there a bit after a expierence a low and have to take a tab or sugar

I have no idea. But I don't think that is cheating. I hear that you should always carry some hard candy, or glucose tab if you feel like you are going too low, I don't, but I hear it is getting dizzy and tired. Help somebody. I don't really know about this.
