Quastion !??

I need someone's advice ! I m a methaphisic healer, I have a lot of problems with my phisical body ,I manage to live a normal life by giving myself every day healing !
My blood test is 6, I don't take any medications,I just watch what I eat. I gave up sweets [very hard] but I'll like to be able to do some exercise ,I have a bad knee,probem with the spine,shouder,and hands , not funny ,!?!?!?! I am able to function ,and I am praying ,I live in San-diego ,and I am looking for someone to advise me what to do to loose weight,I am 40 Lb overweight and I don't know what to do ??

Even just moving a little bit will help. I am sure you can find something in these that will help you out.

I also agree with those who have suggested water exercise. I love it best as it is a good workout without feeling like one. Start of slow and build and before you know it you will be on your way.

Great reminder Gabby. I just tried one of these a few days ago. Don't have a major weight issue but, because I am currently unemployed, I tend to sit around the house alot when I run out of things to do. These are going to help on those days when I don't have any doc appts to go to (my clinic is within 20 min walking distance) or when I just can't get motivated to leave the house.

Gabby ,thank you for the videos ,I started today ,it"s realy easy ,I will increse a littel more every day , I used to be very active ,did sports all my life ,it's so sad when we have to give up things that we love ?!?!?!

Thanks for the info. Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. I've got alot going on with me lately. I've done water therapy for my back. Didn't help, but gave it a shot.

I'm with granniesophie, water aerobics sounds like the way to go. I want to join at our rec. center but the do it on the days i work! Hopefully that will change. My aunt did it and she LOVED it. Good Luck and God Bless.

How about water areobics-they are low impact and good for you. Just find your nearest pool, maybe a community center, and see if they have that kind of class, and if not, maybe there is enough interest in starting one!
BTW, I am visiting San Diego this week, and it's a fun place. I don't just mean the touristy stuff, the houses and places are too. Iv've gotten lost in neighborhoods lots this week (no sense of direction!) and I find them very nice and attractive.

I'm so sorry, I would have loved to, we are heading home today, and I just got your message! We were only a couple days-I have to go back to work-and I have been working all the timne I was one vacation too! If we come again-I will plan on meeting up with you for sure :)

Hi, believe me you are not alone!! I have recently been diagnosed with type 2, I am in the middle of having shots in my back, (radio-frequency its called) to deaden the nerve endings so my back aches won't be so bad, which the shots shoot up my blood sugar to about 300 for a week or two, but to get to the point, I can't really excercise that much right now without pain in my back! I really need to lose some weight also! I don't have an answer yet so I am curious as to what answers you may get here, just wanted to let you know how NOT ALONE you were!!!! We'll make it in the end, keep your mind possitive about that. I don't exactly know what a methaphisic healer is, but I'll look it up, nice to talk to you and good luck to both of us! Louella

LouellaMarie ,Thank you for your commfort.I work with Energies ,and Reikie ,that takes away the pain ,but still I cannot walk more than 10-15 minutes,I feel presure at my lower back .I can live with it but I cannot excercise ,I just take one day at a time ,,take care ,and stay well . KIKI !!

I will be honest with you, if your therapy worked, you would see better results than that. I would "want" better results than that.

I am in physical therapy. I understand pain and not being able to do things. However my pain is less and I am improving walking, squatting with a large ball behind my back and gaining movement. If you only have 10-15 minutes of movement over time, then you have to recognize you do not have the answer with you energies therapy.

"Proofs in the pudding".

You have to stretch and build strength so then…you can exercise. Put the rocks and candles away and roll out the yoga mat, get a dvd geared for the elderly. I am 55 and feel better afterwards so then I can move more to burn the calories!

pixsidust hi ! i had 10 very painful treatment of physical therapy ,and I had more pain than before,we need to listenl to our body ,not everything is for everybody , thanks anyway and , By the way you don't know what is healing , not rocks ,or candles , there is ENERGY ,WHEN I CONNECT WITH ; HIM;AND POEPLE CAN FEEL THE WARMTH THAT COMES OUT OF MY HANDS ,GOD BLESS ,!

You still need to find a way to stretch so your muscles are usable. Your results still speak for themselves that they are not the answer "alone".
I can not be sold on what you are doing based on "your results". Thats what you have to look at and obviously you are wanting more thus your question…Right?

Look up stretches and work at them daily, maybe twice daily. "Slow" and methodical and "holding them" for thirty second intervals. After a 2-3 weeks of serious stretching twice daily then add "very light slow exercises" for strength and then more stretching. You can not move and your muscles are becoming atrophied. I can't listen to that can you? Really?

You think every person who learned to walk again didn't have some pain or effort? Should they have listened to their body not to move and never regain what they lost? Slow stretching should not be all that painful but push yourself to go farther each day, hold the stretch longer each day. Move like you want to regain your life… Hard to talk about calories when you can't move, so you have to start there.

You and I have lost movement. You still have virtually nothing although you treat yourself. I want better don't you? This is a serious answer to your question in hopes you get better, and broaden where you are today.
