Hello everybody, I have been to the doctor regarding my blurry vission that I have had for 5 days, now. She said that I have retina swelling and now I have to go and see an opthomologist on Friday. I am having a down day today it just seems that you get over one thing and then up comes something else, I am so over it now.

Dear Narelle, Higher BG's may make you susceptible to Diabetic Retinopathy. I see an ophthalmologist every year and for the last 3 years he's noted the beginnings of that condition in me…but it hasn't gotten any worse for now. That diagnosis has given me further incentive to get my BG's under better control to prevent my losing my vision. So many of our bodily functions are tied into our diabetes. Wishing you well and sending you hugs,
Lou

Hey there friend Narelle! I'm so sorry to hear about the issue with your eyes. I will pray that everything comes out okay for you. Sorry it took me so long to respond. I've been battling the chronic fatigue that sometimes flares up with Fibromyalgia for several weeks now. I'm going to go to the doctor next week to make sure it isn't something else. Please keep in touch about your situation with your eyes. Sending love and prayers your way. ;-) Mara
