You just found out that you have a diseae that you have to learn about, frrom the sounds of things you also have no medical insurance to help pAy the bills, and if I am right there are companies that can help you, and I will be offer to help you, if this is true. I ws diagnosed in 1992, and had insurance for a litle while, because my husband had to retire due to an illness that will kill him, there is no cure for what he has, he was told at the time that he only hard 18 months to live, He has now outlived that by six years. We thank for each of those days, if you need help in finding ways to get your medicie I will help you, do that. I learned a lot in the four years tha I had no inusurnce And kept my diabetes under control Just about two months ago, we learned that my husband was a diabet also, And I now hAve his under control. Th orse thing that you can do is to feel sorry for yourself I know how you feel being sick all the time, I have been going through that for about a month now, and I also hAVE TO DEAL with my husband, which is not easy, we have to live with his ill ness everyday, if you need help in trying to get your medince and I will help in anyway that I can, just let me know. I hope that this fines you doing bette, let me know And we can get started. Hve a good night, being depresed doesn't help you.stres will only make it worse also. You have a lot to learn, you have com to the perfect place, where you can made friends, and get answers to your questions at the sam e time. I hope that we can be frindds and welcome to our community. Get some rest tonight, you sound like you need it. God iwill be with you and he will bles you. Good and I will check on you in the moring.

Try a supplement drink called Airborne. Also I was always told not to take vitamins and supplements EVERYDAY. Let your body produce those sometimes. Anyhow, Airborne works great for me, not the best in taste but has really improved my immune system. I was just like you, I even lost multiple jobs because of being sick every other day. But things has gotten better for me, and things will get better for you! So hang in there, and don't give up, just have to find out what works best for you. Take care, hope all goes well.

Unfortunately our body cant make vitamins on its own-we must get them from our diet. Vitamin D is the exception in that exposure to sunlight can supply us with it however the risk of course is skin cancer so dairy foods are often fortified with it. :)

I'm going to spell this wrong i just know it: have you ever tried euchencia? I worked with a nurse who swore by it. I worked with her for a couple of years and she was never out sick! I also heard zinc is really good to help shorten colds and such. Good Luck…Peace

Also, don't forget to wash your hands well after shopping at the store, (we touch alot of stuff in there), and don't even think about the hundreds of others who touched it before us!

Vitamin C-everyday. Vit. D if you don't get much sunshine, and get outside and do stuff, move around, (exercise). You will not only FEEL healthier, you will BE healthier!

medico, I wish there was an easy answer, I lost my younger brother to this dreaded monster a few years ago, he always managed a smile right up to the end…

I can't work either and it takes so long to get on disability. I felt like my life had been stripped away. so I do understand where you are coming from. it takes a long time to get use to being disabled. It seems like with every new disease I get depressed, I was very active all my life and then the bottom fell out. The meds you are on really do a number on thought processes. I understand how you can't study. this may only be temporary. You just have to put your life on hold for now. if you have to sleep then sleep. sleep is very healing. Not that the disease will vanish but you will have a different attitude if you get on correct meds. you can still take Klonapin. It makes me very sleepy and when I was on neurontin omg I got lost on the road a lot. i think it takes awhile to go through the grief process and finally to the acceptance that is needed for peace of mind.

Depression is a horrible lonely place. I deal with a chronic condition that affects my ability to work anymore than part time and am on disability due to it. I also am the sole caretaker for my teen daughter who is T1 and dealing with depression and also have a younger child. Life can be exhausting and sometimes we don't see the light at the end of the tunnel but you have to keep telling yourself it will come. This will get better even tho it seems it can't. Reach out to people. You truly never know what might happen tomorrow that could turn it all around for you. It would be a shame to miss out on it when it comes your way. I truly feel for you and hope you find the strength deep down that I know you have, to get thru each day. Just get thru one at a time. That's all any of us can do. And do reach out for help, there are many good counselors out there that can lend an ear and advice. My best to you.
