I work in a restaurant and run around all day. Orthofeet shoes are extremely comfy and help with my lower back pain. Only down side is that I feel like my feet look like "duck feet". I am using those shoes for about three years and i loved them. My feet’s are very happy with those.

If the pain is worse on cold days, it could be the starting of arthritis. I have the beginning stages of RA in my right ankle from a break 15 years ago. Hurts most days… Slight arthritis in my left ankle. I take Tylenol or asprin for the pain. Sometimes Alieve will work too. I wear an adjustable brace on my right ankle most of the time. It seems to help. Left ankle's not that bad yet, but getting there. I found that soaking my feet and ankles in warm warm with epson salt helped too. Hope you find something that works for you.
