Hi! Is there any Vegetarians here? I am reading a book
By a Medical Doctor from Cleveland Clinic that states that there are more people that have illness and diseases than Vegetarians.

I am just curious. Are there any Vegetarians here?

"more people that have illness and diseases than Vegetarians."…so vegetarians aren't people? And, if you mean there are more non-vegetarians with illness than vegetarians with illness, that would possibly be because there are hundreds of times more non-vegetarians in the population…no?

Hi! I corrected the sentence, but it appears that the correction has fallen clear to the bottom of the page. But thank you for pointing it out :). Actually, the Dr is stating that if one eats a Vegan diet that includes not eating any oils, that you will NOT have heart attacks or strokes. That emphatic a statement bothers me. I would prefer to say 'much less likely to'. But that was the point that I was trying to make. Sorry for the confusion. I use an IPhone and sometimes it cuts out words or corrects spelling without me noticing it. I suspect the operator must hit a wrong key somewhere :)

OH GEE! If i take up a Vegan menu plan does that mean I will die of Nothing???
(tongue FIRMLY planted in cheek.)

Seriously, the correction "falling to the bottom" is not operator error, The software which this and all the "connect" websites run is doing what is intended. The first reply to the posting gets pushed down by any subsequent clicksd on "add your reply " below the original post.

Thanks for the info!
No. To die of almost nothing you have to be a Vegan plus not intake any oils including canola and olive oil, then we just lower the odds on some diseases.

Thanks! :) I guess I am looking to 1. Confirm that the book is right and 2. Learn how to go about switching over to that type of diet since it is much healthier and alleged to prevent Heart Attacks, Strokes, some Cancers and so forth. But Ace pointed out that I am actually looking for Vegans as the book states not to eat eggs or dairy products as well.
