Insulin pump

Hi…im getting ready to start using the insulin pump, does anyone have any suggestions on the best pump to use?

If you want an integrated continuous glucose monitor, then look at Medtronic. The Medtronic is my favorite but look at the features and check with your insurance on what they cover

Which ever one has the features you want, is covered by your insurance and is a good fit for you. Ask to do a saline trial with different ones so you can get a feel for how they work and what you like.

You really need to look at their websites and see what each one can do. I put the Ping at the top of my list because you can control it from the pump meter or the pump itself and uses OneTouch strips. Some people want tubeless so that leaves the Omnipod. Some want features in the Minimed and some like the Spirit (which has wireless capability pending which should make it a much better system).
