As I'm T2 I really don't have any experience with what goes on with T1 and frankly hope I never get there. All I can have is sympathy.

Howdy Michael! I've been here on DC for 3 years, and I believe T1s and T2s have fairly good relationships with one another. There will always be points of tension between the two types, as there is points of tension between human beings from time to time. I am very happy that those smouldering points of tension have not erupted in into wholesale flame warfare.

What is most important is that we are focused on managing our common condition, no matter what the type is.

I'm glad your experience here has been positive. I've not been on DiabetesDaily, and really have no desire to check it out, as I REALLY like it here.

The ADA website has had a few people who try to cause issues between Type 1 and Type 2. It has been several months since I logged into that site, so maybe it has changed. I found DC a better fit for my needs.
