Yesterday was a bad day. For over 2 months I have had the blood work, appointments and even the implanted BG monitor to get an insulin pump. Last year my insurance company refused the request and my endo said since my kidneys were getting worse and there has been no improvement in my control it should be no problem. My last test was a month ago so I called my Diabetic educator she told me to deal with the manufacturer that is handling the paperwork and the application. So I called and found out that THEY HADN'T DONE A THING. Nada zip zero.
The discouragement and disappointment is almost overwhelming. You follow your instructions, deal with it the way they want you to and in the end another 2 months of 8 to 10 shots a day, countless needle pricks for tests and expecting people to do their jobs I am back where I was when it all began, just 2 months older.
Sorry, just had to vent somewhere.

vent away. think that is why we are here. Sorry things are not working for you. I would call my endo. again and let them know that nothing has been done. i would also pester the heck out of everyone. let them think what they want. if nothing happens talk to a medical neglect lawyer. It is not right how companies treat people. good luck
