In honor of no D-day ( where we don't talk about " you know what" all day) I decided to start this post ( though it may wind up remarkably similar to one that was here a month ago.)

Anyhow, I guess my first question it, anyone else here huge into Halloween as well? I'm a horror nerd and make sure to go all out the month of October. Last night I saw Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil ( which was pretty good, and very funny) and this weekend I'm heading with some friends to a haunted house that you have to walk through ALONE, with a FLASHLIGHT, and the actors are allowed to TOUCH, PULL, and DRAG you.

Apparently, very few people finish it lol.

So those are my plans. Anyone else got some cool ones for this month? They don't need to be Halloween related, so if you're taking an impromptu trip to Brazil, let us know lol.

My husband and I have family all over the country. It's always so nice when there's a wedding or something because we all get to see one another. I am so happy for you James. Have a great time and take plenty of pictures and please share a couple with us.

I'm Wiccan so yeah I love Halloween. It's the time of year that we honor our ancestors and look at our own mortality. It's a good thing not morbid. We also have some great parties!
Fall is a great time of year. Relief from the heat of summer, but cool enough to work at getting the wood in for winter.
Everyone enjoy the last harvest.

I used to have a friend whose family practiced Wicca, and hated how tied it was in the public's mind to…well, unsavory things to say the least. A lot of it's pretty interesting.

And yes, while it's supposed to be an honoring of ancestors, I gotta admit to liking the morbid aspect quite a bit lol.

I am walking a 5k to support the restoration of the Norconian, a hotel in Norco, Ca. It used to be a resort for old time Hollywood stars and is badly in need of rescue. I am supporting a good cause and having fun at the same time. Can't beat that.

Sounds like a good cause, god knows to many old buildings are getting demolished nowadays instead of restored to their former luster.

Yes I am going South East of where I live to Texas to see my nephew get married over the Halloween weekend. The only problem that going to that Haunted place is what I would do in reaction of them! LOL More than likely laughing myself silly! :)
