My goal

After bieng told by doctors that I had type two diabeties i went in to denial. I did not take care of myself. I put on weight and risked my health.
That is when i took charge of it I started to take better care of myself by wahtching what I ate and the times I woul eat.
That is how I droped three dress sizes. From being a size 14 I am now a size 11.
This is how I did it;
1. i rarely eat hevy foods at night. Like carbs if I do it is no sugar low carbs cereal. Like Kikx Cherrios(plain), those only and instead of regular milk I use soy milk.

2. I started to take my meds. and I started to excercise a bit. I lake short walks around around the block. Or I make excuses to go up and douwn the stairs at my house.

My goal is to get healthy not thin I still get to eat what I want just in proportions. I dont suff myself when I eat I eat till i dont feel hungry.

I did exactly the same thing. But that was 25 years ago. You should be proud of yourself. I am. Great job.

I believe we all go thru denial and alot more phases then we decide we have to get healthy.Thats when we do the exerise ,diet and everthing.. Good luck looks you are on your way and remem ber you are not alone.

You have a great goal and you have a plan and that is better. I used to have goals all the know that wish list of things we want to do. But until I found a way to make a plan of action to go with it, I would just get frustrated. I love what you shared...makes me want to look at my goals again and maybe reasses my plan.

Keep up the great work, and share with us your successes as you reach your goals. We all love to cheer someone on.

You should defenetly so what your heart tells you. Go over your list and do what you could to acomplish what you want.
